Rahman launched 'Firdaus Studio by AR. Rahman', a world-class music gallery for Expo2020 in Dubai. Launched with the support and initiative of the Dubai Government's International Cooperation Agency, the concert is not far away from becoming Dubai's musical landmark.

The studio works on all platforms such as composing and recording with such high-quality technologies and instruments. The band, which was formalized by Rahman through this studio and led by him, is named ‘Firdaus Orchestra’.The Arabic word Firdaus means Paradise. Which means heaven. The main feature of this band is that the band is made up entirely of female musicians. Notably, these women are musicians from 23 Middle Eastern and North African countries that can be called MENA (Middle East North Africa). The members of this band were selected after multiple auditions.

Firdaus Studio prioritizes mythical musical instruments and instruments that capitalize on Arabic music. All the musicians who came to the Expo had visited this studio. Recently, Indian musicians like B. Susheela, Hariharan, Shreya Ghoshal and others visited the studio.

Ilayaraja who attended the Expo also visited Rahman's studio. The latter took to his social media to post a photo of them together and hoped that musician Ilayaraja would compose something for the Firdaus Orchestra and the Isai Nyani gladly agreed.
