Recently, music director AR Rahman had revealed that there are several gangs in Bollywood which are spreading rumours about him, and preventing good movies from coming to him. This statement from the top music director had shocked the industry.

Many people from the film industry spoke in support of Rahman and that it was the loss of Bollywood and not Rahman, for missing him. Now, ADMK minister SP Velumani, the Minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development & Implementation of Special Programme has tweeted in support of AR Rahman.

SP Velumani tweeted "It's saddening that Oscar winner AR Rahman, who had not just won hearts of Indians but also scaled peaks globally has said that Bollywood is preventing him from bagging good movies by spreading rumours about him. People who are spreading misinformation about Rahman are condemnable, and I extend my hearty support to AR Rahman".
