Isai Puyal AR Rahman is known for his kind and humble nature. But now, the legendary composer's music concert has turned into a terrible experience for many of the fans and public. Oscar Nayagan's latest show in Chennai, 'Markkuma Nenjam', was touted to be the biggest musical event in the country but it ended up as a disappointing night.
Due to poor organising, the people who bought expensive tickets were not allowed to the venue. The management company's bad strategy resulted in overcrowd and heavy traffic in Chennai, ECR. ARR stated in an interview that he will take accountability for the mess and promised that the ticket money will be refunded to the fans.
Rahman had earlier asked his fans to contact his team through the email address he provided for the refund. Now, ARR and his team have started responding to the emails from the people. ARR apologised to the fans personally through mail replies and confirmed that he is planning a surprise for them. As per the latest reports, Rahman's team have initiated refunds to more than 400 people since last night out of the 4000 mails they have received.
Earlier today, the ACTC event management company's CEO in a video admitted that mistakes were made and aplogised for the same. He added that ARR has no part in the mishaps. Meanwhile, top celebrities and politicians came in support of Rahman and cited that the organising company should be held responsible for the unfortunate events instead of the artists.
