AR Rahman's niece Rushda Rahman ties the knot

Rushda Rahman, who is the niece of legendary composer AR Rahman, has got married. She is the daughter of senior character artist Rahman, who has been married to Meherunnisa since 1993. Meherunnisa is the elder sister of AR Rahman's wife Saira Banu.
Coming to Rushda Rahman, she has got married to Altaf Nawad and a grand reception was held in Chennai yesterday. The celebrated music director Rahman and his family were present throughout while Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin greeted the couple in person.
The multi-lingual composer is handling a few important projects currently. He is doing Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan', which is expected to have mind-blowing songs.
