Official: AR Rahman is the music director of Thalapathy 61

Here comes the official announcement about the cast and crew of 'Thalapathy 61'. The is the 100th production venture of the prestigious Sri Thenandal Films banner. Atlee will be directing the film with Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead role.

The makers have officially confirmed that Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman will be rendering the musical score for the film. This will be the double Oscar awardee's third film with Vijay after 'Udhaya' and 'Azhagiya Tamizh Magan'. For Atlee this is the first time he will be working with such a Indian music legend of International glory.
