Oscar-winning music maestro A.R. Rahman collaborated with Marvel India to compose a special anthem for the much-anticipated upcoming superhero movie, Avengers: Endgame. The anthem that was released across social media today has been composed in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu.
The Marvel anthem was released by Avengers: Endgame filmmaker Joe Russo during a media event in Mumbai today. Expressing his immense admiration towards A.R. Rahman and his composition, Joe Russo stated, “I have goosebumps every time I watch this anthem. The song embodies the film’s spirit and when it cannot be conveyed through words, it’s done by music, that’s why Rahman is a musical genius.” The musical maestro thanked Joe Russo for the opportunity, adding that it resonated with him when the story was briefed.
Avengers: Endgame, which is less than a month away from its release, is the 22nd film in the Marvel series, and will feature the surviving members of the Avengers and their allies, who will work to reverse the damage caused by Thanos in the prequel, the last year’s Avengers: Infinity War. The movie has a huge fan base in India, especially after the mighty success of Infinity War, which collected over Rs. 250 crore in the country.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the movie will release in India on April 26 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
