Event though the academy award winning music composer did not reveal directly what the announcement would be about, the 9.09 time slot gives us a fair idea of what it might be.

'99 Songs' is an upcoming romantic musical film directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy. It is worth mentioning here that the film is being bankroleld by A.R.Rahman. So it is expected that tonight's announcement might be around this film. 

Another interesting fact is that in addition to scoring the film's music, A.R.Rahman is also set to amaze audiences with his acting skills as he will be essaying an important role in the film.It is also notable that the film's first look poster that was released a few days back by the composer was well recieved by fans.
