We all know that Mozart of Madras AR Rahman's daughter Khatija got hitched to audio engineer Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed at Chennai in an intimate ceremony last month. The pictures and videos from her lavish wedding won hearts on the internet.

On Friday (June 10), the Oscar-winning musician hosted a posh wedding reception for the newlyweds at ARR Film City, Chennai. Several celebrities and politicians attended the reception. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Mani Ratnam and his wife, Manisha Koirala and Drums Sivamani were present.

The new bride looked gorgeous donning a purple-hued lehenga with a matching hijab. On the other hand, her groom wore a black-hued tuxedo. Isai Puyal AR Rahman was seen in a navy blue kurta and a matching jacket while his wife opted for maroon attire. The photos and clips from the event are doing rounds on social media.
