Famous singer, who crooned AR Rahman's hit song, passes away at age 46!

The famous singer, who sang the hit song composed by Isai Puyal AR Rahman, has passed away at the age of 46. The film fraternity is expressing condolences over the artist's death.

Singer Sangeetha Sajith has sung over 200 songs in South Indian movies including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages. She sang the AR Rahman's evergreen song 'Thanneerai Kathalikkum Meengala Illai' from Prabhu Deva' super hit movie 'Mr Romeo'.

Sangeetha Sujith has been in hospital for the past few days due to a kidney problem. The 46-year-old singer passed away today. Music lovers have been praying for his soul to attain peace.

Not only in 'Mr Romeo', Sangeetha has also rendered her voices in many other Tamil films like 'Thalai Nagaram' among the multiple languages. Her last song was the one she crooned in Prithviraj's 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum'.
