Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman is also a producer and screenwriter. Now, Isai Puyal has turned into a director with the short film 'Le Musk'. The latest is that ARR's 'Le Musk' will premiere at the Cannes International Film Festival 2022.
AR Rahman clinched the Oscar for Best Original Score and Best Original Song at the 81st Academy Awards. Apart from music, he also made his debut as a producer in 2020 with the Hindi musical drama film titled "Atkan Chatkan". He later wrote the screenplay for the 2021 movie "99 Songs".
Recently, AR Rahman directed a 36-minute short movie called "Le Musk" based on a one-line story pitched by his wife Saira Banu. It is a virtual reality film which follows the journey of an orphaned child who has an extreme sense of scent. The full story is written by Currao Phoenix and the project stars Nora Arnezeder and Guy Burnet.
The film is named after ARR and his wife's favourite fragrance. 'Le Musk' will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival in France. The 75th edition of the Cannes International Film Festival is set to take place on May 17-28. 'Le Musk' will be screened in the XR section at Cannes and the fans are excited.
