A.R.Rahman is one of the most celebrated composers of our time who has earned millions of ardent fans all over the world. While he has a staggering portfolio in Tamil and Hindi industries, fans from Kerala have been wanting a full fledged album for many years.
 
Now as an answer to their prayers, Rahman will be scoring the music for a Malayalam film after 25 years, yes you read it right, after 25 long years. ‘Aadujeevitham’ is the film’s title which stars Prithiviraj and directed by award winning filmmaker Blessey. It is touted that the film is based on the critically acclaimed novel of the same name written by Benyamin. 

The last time Rahman worked on the music for a Malayalam film was ‘Yoddha’ which came out in 1992. Sure this is exciting news not only for our Malayalam speaking friends, but also others as well  as we get to to see Rahman weave his magic in a new language.
