The 64th National Film Awards for the Indian Films released in 2016 were announced by the Union Information & Broadcasting Ministry on Friday. Many have felt that the selection committee headed by veteran filmmaker and producer Priyadarshan has been biased in selecting the recipients for awards in certain categories.
Highly acclaimed filmmaker A.R.Murugadoss is one among the people who welt that the selection committee was biased and he has boldly expressed his opinion in his Twitter page.

Can clearly witness the influence & partiality of people in jury, it's biased.
It is worth recalling that veteran cinematographer P.C.Sreeram had criticised the National Awards for the films released in 2015, for not giving the Best actor award for Vikram's performance in the Shankar directorial 'I'.
