What happens when the vibrant youth loses his `Aptha' (dear one)? Revenge is the answer in the commercial cinema. That is what the protagonist in the film does like how Dr Kamal Haasan has done in `Sigappu Rojakal'.

That does not mean the film is a remake of `Sigappu Rojakal' but definitely there is some inspiration for debutant director Sanjeevkumar Megoti who has a long standing as assistant director. The film is just an average feast for the thrill loving audience.

The reason behind Vijay a village boy donning the get up of Johny, Amjad, Jenny and Deva (all Neeraj Sham) is because he has to encounter five persons in his life. One is Guna (Santosh Balaji) who is responsible for spreading the nude photographs of Anjali Devi (Poja Gandhi) intoxicating her. The other four are - Poonam, Pragna, Manasi and Bhavyakala the batch mates of Anjali Devi for supporting this cause. Why the five have taken such a drastic step? Anjali Devi in her first year MBBS has complained against the five for ragging her and torturing her in the room.

Vijay posing as good friend to all the four girls kill Poonam and Bhavya Kala but before this he finishes off Guna. When he is about to take revenge on the remaining two the police intervene as Pragna accidently reads the diary that has all the motives of Vijay. In the chase the Pragna and Manasi reach the graveyard where they are pierced by an iron rod. Vijay is shot down by the police.

Sanjeev Kumar Megoti could have made this film even better had some more home work is done for this film. He has the stuff and it is not routed in right way.

It is a good beginning for Neeraj Sham indeed. Pooja Gandhi is almost second fiddle in this film. Poonam is very pretty and three other girls Manasi, Bhavya Kala and Pragna have nothing much to do.

In the music and cinematography the film deserved to be better. The screening also might be the reason for generating poor quality to cinematography. There is only one song that is worth hearing again.

This could have been even better film.
