Appukutty's clarification about his role in 'Vivegam'

Actor Appukutty aka Sivabalan has acted with Thala Ajith in Veeram` and Vivegam`. Ever since Veeram` days Ajith and it is a well known fact that Ajith is a well-wisher of the character cum comedy actor.

Naturally speculations were rife that Appukutty is playing a role in Ajith`s Vivegam` which is being directed by Siva after Veeram` and Vedalam`.

But the National Award winning actor has now clarified that he is not acting in Vivegam`. "It is true that Ajith sir, is affectionate towards me. But Vivegam` is a story of a gang war happening in foreign countries. I understand that the script would not have demanded any role for an actor like me. "
