Amazon is the market leader as far as the ebook market is concerned and the company's reader Kindle is one of the most preferred by users.  Apple is all set to reenter the market with IBooks for its Iphone and Ipad customers.  The company earlier had a good market share in this segment but had to back out due to the US Justice Department suing the company in 2012 for allegedly trying to raise the prices of ebooks and a 450 million USD fine was slapped.

The new app will be just called Books and will be available on the Apple Store with special features that include Reading Now and a dedicated Audio Books section.  Apple hopes to turn the tables on Amazon in the digital books market when the new app hits the market soon.
