A new hero joins Mani Ratnam's 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'

Mani Ratnam's mega multistarrer 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' has gone on floors and reports suggest that efforts are on to finish the film in quick time and release it by June this year. The film which has music score by A.R.Rahman has a stellar star cast that includes Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Arvind Swamy, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jayasudha, Prakash Raj and Mansoor Ali Khan among others.
The latest addition to the 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' starcast is Appani Sarath who is the latest young hero to make a mark in Malayalam cinema. He debuted in the super hit 'Angamaley Diaries' and has impressed in films such as 'Pokkiri Simon' and also appeared in the sensational hit song Jimikki Kammal alongside Mohan Lal in 'Velipadinte Pusthakam.
Appani Sarath apart from 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' is also playing a pivotal role in Vishal-Keerthy Suresh's 'Sandakozhi2' directed by Linguswamy.
