At the age of 34 the talented Apoorva Kasaravalli director of Niruththara` and son of Padmasri Dr Girish Kasaravalli and Vaishali Kasaravalli married Vandana Supriya an Odissi dancer on Monday 17th of April at Royal Orchid resort, Yalahanka near Jakkur Flying club.

It was a well attended wedding. Karnataka chief Minister Siddaramaiah and a few of his cabinet colleagues, Dr Jayamala, HM Ramachandran, Dr Shivarajakumar, Prakash Rai, Puneeth Rajakumar, V Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Vinayaprasad, Hema Chaudhary, Ramesh Bhat, GS Bhasker, Padmaja Rao and many others attended to bless the newly married couple.

It was a mouth watering Dakshin Kannada style of recipes the guests enjoyed. Ananya Kasaravalli daughter of Dr Girish Kasaravalli also very famous in direction looked after the proceedings of the marriage of her brother.

Apoorva Kasaravalli studied in Christ University and did Masters in University of Technology Sydney, assisted his father in films like Dweepa and Kurmavathara. He made debut last year as director of Niruththara`. Vandana Supriya got trained in Odissi dance from Nrithyagrama.
