Title - Apoorva, Producer - Ishwari Production, Direction, Music - V Ravichandran, Cinematography - GSV Seetharam, Cast - V Ravichandran, Apoorva, Kichcha Sudeep, Ravishanker, Pavitra Lokesh, Suchindraprasad, Vijay Raghavendra Spandana and others.

Ever since ‘Ekangi’ in 2002, we have seen lot of maturity and clarity in the thoughts of this grand showman of Kannada cinema V Ravichandran. In his latest mega release ‘Apoorva’ he has tucked many specialties at his whims and fancies. Not taking care enough from the audience point of view. The general tendency of film makers is to give the forethought what they feel is great. They do not think about how it would admissible from the masses point of view. The breakthrough in the box office most of the times is shabby because of such ideologies not meeting the masses.

V Ravichandran no doubt the dream merchant even today in the Kannada cinema industry. His level of thinking also uplifts the thinking level of audience from this ‘Apoorva’. The climax point of view is what not agreeable.  ‘Priti Madabaradu, Madidare Jagake Hedarabadaru’ (one should not love, if they fall in love they should not worry for the rest of the world) V Ravichandran stamp of love based films not taken care here with the 61 years Rajasekhar and 19 years young Apoora suicide.

The level of this showman would have gone extreme had he walked out from the love and given life to the 19 years Apoorva, it would have been largely acceptable. ‘Suicide’ is not the answer what thinkers and philosophers say. The crazy star V Ravichandran bogs down to this was not a precise end.

As a grand master in the technical issues and story narration V Ravichandran is peerless. An old man of 61 years Rajasekhar (V Ravichandran) and 19 years Apoorva (Apoorva) locked in the lift for the terrorist attack and mobile phone network in jam, we get to know the terrorist attack in the voices of Prakash Rai as minister, Kichcha Sudeep and Ravishanker as terrorists, Thara as ill fated mother in captivity, plus senior actor Suchindra Prasad begging for life.

The clever way of disclosing fear is fine but the entry to Mall for Rajasekhar without security check up is not acceptable. The exchange of bag not noticed by Rajasekhar is the way for the terrorist kidnap the Minister and keeping general public as hostage.

For his age and stage V Ravichandran is perfect in delivering his role. He is too philosophical in his quotations on screen.  In fact V Ravichandran could come out with a book on such quotations.
Apoorva looks very beautiful in her debut. Her journey has good road ahead for her. She is tremendous in naught roles and looks wise she reminds yesteryears Vijayalakshmi (of Nagamandala).

The task of grand master of Kannada cinema V Ravichandran is on higher end. He has given up all commercial format contents. The audience also get educated from this kind of grand making.
This is a film with technical excellence. The cinematography in a small lift by GSV Seetharam deserves awards for him. The brilliance in special effects, graphics and usage of colours are remarkable.

V Ravichandran had controlled on a few aspects to reach the masses would have been easier.
