The showman of Kannada cinema V Ravichandran has given a new version of Apoorva` on his birthday May 30 with nearly 25 minutes chopping.

After consulting the regional censor board V Ravichandran has made relevant changes and the speed of the film is fast now. For Ekangi` Kannada cinema in 2002, V Ravichandran was ready with another version.

On his 55th birthday V Ravichandran announced the changed version of Apoorva` is going to give quick movement of the screenplay.

Apoorva collections have not dropped. It is steady and family audience are taking up this unique thought of V Ravichandran slowly.

The film was released in over 200 screens all over Karnataka with English subtitles. Asked on the removal of quotes on left and right V Ravichandran says this is the new style of film making that appeal to non Kannada audience too.
