The Tamil remake of Ayushmann Khuranna starrer Bollywood superhit 'Badhaai Ho' has been titled Veetla Visheshanga. According to the latest reports, the Tamil remake team has roped in actress Aparna Balamurali to play the female lead. The actress will be paired opposite RJ Balaji in the film which will be directed by him as well. Reportedly, Sathyaraj and Urvashi will also be seen in pivotal roles. Produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP, the movie is expected to go on floors in August this year. An official announcement regarding the title, cast, and crew is expected to be made shortly.

2018 release 'Badhaai Ho' starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra in the lead. The comedy family entertainer revolved around the story of a middle-aged couple who get pregnant and how their adult children and society are disappointed on the same forms the crux of the story.

In Bollywood, the movie was a box-office hit and also critical acclaim from all corners.
