Aparna Balamurai became an overnight sensation after the release of the block buster film ' Soorarai Pottru' opposite Suriya. She gave a jaw-dropping performance in the film and won a permanent place in the hearts of fans as Bommi. Every youth desired to get a wife like Bommi after watching her brilliant portrayal of this character.

Though she made her debut in the Tamil film industry through the movie '8 Thootakal', 'Soorarai Potru' was the turning point in her career graph. Now the latest buzz states that she is all set to romance Karthi in her next film.

Earlier we reported that Karthi will join hands with 'Komban' director Muthiah for the second time. The film is expected t be set in a rural backdrop and Aparna Balamurai is most likely to play the lead lady in this film. Though the official announcement is yet to arrive fans can't wait to witness this pair onscreen.

Aparna on the other hand is roped in to play a prominent role in Ahok Selvan's next she also has few Malayalam films lined up in her kitty. On the other hand, Karthi is busy shooting for Manirathnam's magnum opus ' Ponniyin Selvan'. He is expected to put his work for 'Sardar' on hold to start his next film with Muthiah.
