The Andhra Pradesh government has been busy thinking about how to do justice to cine audiences as well as the makers of 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram'. Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy, the torchbearer of balanced cinema ticket prices, has finalized a certain hiked rate for the Rajamouli movie.
Today, the government allowed all screens in the State to increase the ticket price by Rs 75 per. This was done after duly considering the costs involved to make the magnum opus. Rs 336 Cr is the budget of 'RRR' sans remunerations. The concerned departments vetted the submissions made by Rajamouli and producer DVV Danayya on a priority basis.
As per the new arrangement, single-screen theaters can sell a ticket at Rs 236 and multiplexes at Rs 265 for 10 days starting from the release date (March 25).
A key issue affecting the youth of Andhra Pradesh has been resolved with broad-mindedness, thanks to the joint efforts of AP CM Jagan and Cinematography Minister Perni Nani.
