The latest Covid-19 bulletin from Andhra Pradesh puts the cumulative tally of positive cases in the State at 1,07,402. This is as of 10 am Tuesday. About 49,745 have been discharged so far, while 1148 have succumbed to the virus. Active cases are 56,509 in number.

About 7948 positive cases were logged in the past 24 hours. There were 3064 discharged cases in the said period. 58 people died. About 62,979 samples were tested.

East Godavari, Kurnool, Guntur, Anantapur, West Godavari, Chittoor, and Vizag, in that order, have got the highest caseload. In the last 24 hours, East Godavari recorded the highest number of cases (at 1367 positives).

The State has recorded 87,000 cases of the over 1,07,000 in July alone. This only goes to show that the spike has been terrible.
