AP logs 5,086 fresh cases; Chittoor, Kurnool are worst-hit in 24 hours

Andhra Pradesh is witnessing a scary rise in coronavirus cases, with 5,086 testing positive for the virus afresh. Chittoor saw 835 and Kurnool 626 new cases in 24 hours. Guntur is at No. 3 with 611 cases. Srikakulam logged 568 cases.

As many as 35,741 samples were tested in the past 24 hours. There were 1,745 discharges. And 14 died.

As on 15th April 2021 10:00 AM, here are the cumulative data:

Positives: 9,39,240

Discharged: 9,00,177

Deceased: 7,353

Active Cases: 31,710

As many as 6.28 lakh doses were administered on April 14. "AP stands top among all the states in India with the highest number of vaccines administered in one day. The total number of doses administered in the state so far are 45,71,465," the government said.
