The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday issued notices to as many as 49 persons over criticism of some of its recent verdicts. Among the 49 persons are YSRCP parliamentarian Nandigam Suresh and the ruling party leader Amanchi Krishna Mohan.
The persons made certain comments on social media slamming the judiciary for giving verdicts in the cases of Dr Sudhakar and compulsory English medium in government schools in Andhra Pradesh.
They made remarks against the judges in connection with their decisions regarding some court cases, an ANI report quoted the notice as saying.
Some of the comments call for violence. "Mr. Chandu Reddy tweeted that 'total how many judges are there in the High Court, all those will be cut into pieces' and also tweeted that 'Everyone shall be cut into pieces. All the judges shall be kept in a room and a Corona patient shall be left with them'. Mr. Kishore Reddy Darisa in a Facebook message commented that 'All the High Court judges are bastards, they are good for nothing, except for sleeping with their wives. Let them arrest me and order for CBI enquiry'," the order says.
