AP: Government issues guidelines related to night curfew

Night curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM will come into force in Andhra Pradesh from January 18. As per the latest government order, the curfew will be in force till January 31.
Some services have been exempted from the night curfew. Besides the healthcare sector and the media, petrol pumps, telecommunications, Internet Services, Broadcasting services, IT and IT-es, Power Generation, Water supply, Sanitation, those involved in some specific areas in the local, state and central governments, services related to pregnant women, and all inter-state and intra-state movement of goods will remain in operation.
Not wearing a mask will result in a penalty of Rs 100. Weddings, religious gatherings and social activities can't see the gathering of more than 200 participants if it is outdoor and 100 if it is indoors.
Cinema halls have to follow the 50% occupancy norm without fail. Since the night curfew is not coming into effect immediately, the Sankranthi releases will stand to benefit.
Establishments and shops that allow unmasked people will attract a penalty of Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 depending on the gravity of the offense.
