As per the newest Covid-19 guidelines issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, a night curfew from 11pm to 5am will be implemented henceforth. Night curfews have been the first step towards imposing larger restrictions during the pandemic.
Cinema Halls are set to be affected by the new restrictions. Once again, 50% occupancy limits have been brought into force. They were there during the first and second waves of the pandemic as well.
Malls too shall run to only 50% capacity. Public functions can be held without allowing more than 200 persons.
The new rules will affect the Sankranthi movie releases. Nagarjuna-Naga Chaitnaya's 'Bangarraju' is the biggest film that is coming out. 'Rowdy Boys' and 'Hero' are also going to hit the screens. With the postponement of 'DJ Tillu', only three movies are in the Sankranthi race. Since there are no restrictions in Telangana, the releases might not get affected.
