Andhra Pradesh Dy CM and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan lashed out at actor Prakash Raj on Wednesday, accusing him of hypocrisy in criticizing the Tirumala Ghee controversy.

Speaking to the media after offering prayers at the Vijayawada Durga Temple, Kalyan expressed his frustration with Prakash Raj's comments, stating, What is the objection of actor Prakash Raj if I speak about the issue of Hindus? He did not blame any religion; what is the point of saying I am making a circle?

He questioned the rationale behind silencing Hindus, citing the recent desecration of deity idols, If they are decapitated, should we not speak about it? Prakash Raj says he respects secularism. But there are two forms of it. Does it mean we can only speak when there's an attack on Hindus? I have always shown respect to Muslims and Madrassas, even donating lakhs of rupees.

Kalyan highlighted his own experience, stating, I studied in a missionary school and have always held them in high regard. However, if injustice is done to the dharma I practice, why can't I speak up? This is the question for Prakash Raj and everyone who claims to uphold secularism.

He added, We Hindus are in serious pain. Do I have to think a hundred times before speaking? Ayyappa Swami and Goddess Saraswati will speak as they please. Why do they protest when we talk about their gods? Every average Hindu is Dharma. What will they do if Islam is attacked? It is not my sole responsibility to protect Dharma. Everyone in all parties should stand united to safeguard Sanatana Dharma.

Kalyan's fiery response comes after Prakash Raj's recent criticism regarding the Tirumala Ghee controversy. It remains to be seen how Prakash Raj will react to this open condemnation from the Deputy CM. It is known that Pawan Kalyan earlier came up with a satire on Pawan Kalyan posting 'Dear @PawanKalyan…It has happened in a state where you are a DCM .. But,this throws light on many issues surrounding desecration of temples ,its land issues and other dharmic practices.Many be the time has come to constitute a ‘Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board’ at a National level to look into all the issues related to temples in entire Bharath. A debate has to happen at a National level by all the policy makers, religious heads, judiciary,citizens,media and all others in their respective domains. think we all should come together to put an end to desecration of ‘Sanathana Dharma’ in anyform.
