AP assembly to be taller than the tallest statue

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made it official that the proposed Assembly structure in Andhra Pradesh will be taller than the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. The Sardar Vallabhai Patel statue is the world's tallest as of now. And after the AP assembly is ready, it will be the world's tallest structure (unless it's outcompeted by the Shivaji Smarak in Maharashtra).
If the Statue of Unity is 182 metres tall, the AP assembly will have a tower that spirals 250 metres.
The government has already given a blueprint to the UK-based Norma Fosters regarding the planned structure.
The assembly building is going to have a huge optical value and cultural significance, reports say.
