AP: 9,544 cases in 24 hours and other updates

As on August 21 (10:00 AM), Andhra Pradesh logged 9,544 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. About 55,010 samples were tested. As many as 8,827 were discharged. Ninety-one deaths took place in the 24-hour period.

East Godavari, Chittoor and West Godavari continue to log a high number of cases, which are upwards of 1,000 in number. Kurnool, Anantapur and Vizag are also registering relatively high numbers.

Here are the cumulative numbers:

Positives: 3,32,045

Discharged: 2,41,150

Deceased: 3,092

Active Cases: 87,803
