With 62 new cases in the last 24 hours (as of 11:30 am, Saturday), the number of corona positive cases has breached the 1500 mark in Andhra Pradesh. The total number of confirmed cases now stands at 1525, with 1051 of them being active. 441 have been discharged so far, while deaths are 33 in number.

Of the 62 new cases, 25 came from Kurnool and 12 more came from Krishna. Vizag, Anantapur and Kadapa registered 4 new cases each. East Godavari and Guntur gave 3 and 2 cases each. Prakasam and West Godavari had 1 case each.
