AP: 6,051 Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

As on Monday (July 27) 10:00 am, Andhra Pradesh logged 6,051 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. About 3,234 patients were either discharged or cured. About 49 patients succumbed to the virus. As many as 43,127 samples were tested in the 24-hour period.

Deaths in 24 hours: A Break-up: Nine died in West Godavari, 8 died in Vizag, 7 died in Chittoor, 7 died in East Godavari, 5 died in Krishna, 4 died in Vijayanagaram, 3 died in Anantapur, 2 died in Kurnool, 2 died in Srikakulam, 1 each died in Prakasam and Kadapa.

The cumulative figure stands at 99,454. So, the Telugu State is all set to cross the one lakh figure soon.

So far, 46,681 patients have been discharged. As many as 1,090 have died of the virus in the State. Active cases are 51,683 in number.
