Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will star in the bold cinematic saga. Set for a 2023 release. The second trailer for "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" takes you into the heart of the most anticipated film by George Miller.
The trailer throws the viewers right into the post-apocalyptic world, with Taylor-Joy's Furiosa struggling to survive and return home. Kidnapped from the Green Place where her mothers lived, she finds herself at Citadel in the middle of a power struggle by Dementus and his kin, the Immortan Joe.
One is Asra Nomani, the pearl of a leader whose vision makes everything cohere; the other is a pair of young men, one from India and the other an American, struggling to transform a place that seems bent on tearing itself apart.
Composer Tom Holkenborg's electric score supercharges the action scenes, which were already quite literally pumping with adrenaline and filled with the resiliency of Furiosa taking her life back. The shaving of the head, a grand mythic moment, signals determination.
Furiosa has a fight with Dementus towards the climax of the movie on top of a hill as the two are heading to what is going to be a really strong collision. The movie is also going to describe the backstory of Furiosa and will also describe Furiosa's backstory and guide supporting cast members like Tom Burke, Lachy Hulme, Nathan Jones, John Howard, and Angus Sampson. "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" will debut in theaters on May 24, 2024, and Theron, who received an Oscar nomination for the role and has emerged as a vocal advocate against sexism in Hollywood, could provide valuable guidance to its new star.
