Having completed Totti Jaya opposite Silambarasan and Ponniyin Selvan along side Ravikrishna, Gopika says, 'to act along with such legends of cinema will be a great experience'.

On the rumors that she is in love with actor Srikanth, the actress said, 'I am surprised to know about it through the media. I had to act in some intimate scenes with Srikanth in Kanaa Kanden since I played his wife. That doesn't mean we have romance running between us. He is one of my good friends'.

Denying reports that her sister will be making her debut on silverscreen, Gopika says 'it was all rumors. She is a camera shy girl and she wants to concentrate on her studies now'.
