After a resounding success in Rajamanickam starring Mammootty almost a year ago, director Anwar Rasheed disappeared.

It was rumoured that he was camping in Chennai for the past few months to remake his maiden Malayalam blockbuster in Tamil with Sarath Kumar playing the lead role.

Now with all efforts going in vain, the director is back to Malayalam.

Buzz is that he has been assigned to direct Mohanlal for his next.

Tentatively titled Chotta Mumbai the movie would be produced by Shribanu Pictures and would go to floors this October.

Sai Kumar, Jagadi, Siddique, KPAC Lalitha among others form part of the movie. Anwar Rasheed is planning to introduce a new face as heroine in the movie.

As the title suggests it would be a movie on gangsters with Mohanlal flexing his muscles.
