Anusree plays a cop in Mohanlal starrer 'Oppam'

Anusree has landed a very pivotal role in Priyadarshan's 'Oppam'. She will play a newly appointed Assistant Commissioner of Police. 'Oppam' is a crime thriller and Anusree's role as a police named Ganga carry much weight.

Mohanlal plays a blind man who is somehow involved in a crime. Ganga is is the only one who is sure of his innocence and helps to find the culprit. Priyadrahsan said that he wanted a cop who who has a Malayali look, yet has a smart demeneour. Anusree is on a high following the success of 'Maheshinte Prathikaram'.
