Anushka will play Karthi's heroine

Remember Anushka, the yoga teacher- turned- actress, who acted opposite Madhavan in 'Rendu'?

She is back to Tamil from Tollywood to do a movie with Karthi.

Karthi is currently acting in Selvaraghavan's 'Aayirathil Oruvan'. It would be followed by 'Paiyya', to be directed by Lingusamy in which Tamanna plays his heroine. Then, he would play the lead role in Gnanavel's Studio Green produced movie who had earlier made the critically acclaimed 'Paruthiveeran'.

Titled 'Chiruthai', the movie is a remake of the Telugu 'Vikramarkudu' and Anushka plays his heroine. Anushka earlier played heroine in the Telugu version too. VV Kathir of 'Thenavattu' fame will be directing the film.
