Anushka to play dual role in 'Arundhati'

Over 50 per cent shooting of 'Arundhati' directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and produced by Shyamprasad Reddy on the banner of MS Arts with Anushka playing dual roles for the first time.
It is reliably learnt that both the characters of Anushka were quite diversified. As the title suggests, the film might be dealing with the problems faced by women in the society.
Deepak is playing the hero opposite Anushka in this film.
Anushka, who played a super-hit commercial film like 'Lakshyam' had switched over to a film like 'Arundhati' is quite surprising.
However, she had reportedly agreed to play the role as there was a lot of scope to perform in this movie and she could prove herself as an artiste with this movie.
In 'Bhadra', Deepak played the brother of the heroine, while he is playing hero to the same heroine. Films like 'Ankusam, Ahuti, Talambralu, Ammoru and Anji' were proved successful in the combination of Kodi Ramakrishna and Shyamprasad Reddy.
The producer says, 'Our latest flick would be on par with those successful and hit films.'
