Anushka Shetty has been quite active on social media. Of late, she has got busy making posts on Twitter. On Friday, marking the 5th anniversary of the release of 'Rudrama Devi', in which she played the titular role, the 'Baahubali' actress wrote a 'Thank You' note. Since Allu Arjun played a spectacular role in the historical and was instrumental in ensuring that the film got a great amount of buzz, she thanked him. The 'Nishabdham' actress also thanked Rana Daggubati, who played her co-star.

"This journey is very special for me. Allu Arjun and Rana Daggubati, you guys made it wonderful. My heartfelt thanks to Director Gunasekhar garu and team for bringing the glorious history on the screen at such a massive scale," Anushka tweeted.

Earlier in the day, Gunasekhar said that the film was the first-ever female-centric one to gross Rs 83 Cr. "BookMyShow listed it as the No. 3 film for the year 2015," he said.

Also starring Prakash Raj and Krishnam Raju, the film had music by Ilaiyaraaja and cinematography by Ajayan Vincent. Chiranjeevi was its powerful narrator.
