Anushka Shetty gets nostalgic as 'Super' turns a year older

It was on 20 July 2005 that Anushka Shetty debuted in 'Super', which was headlined by Akkineni Nagarjuna. As the film turned a year older earlier this week, the 'Baahubali' actress today took to Instagram and thanked Annapurna Studios for casting her for the role. She also thanked director Puri Jagannadh, who was the maker of 'Super'.
"Congratulations to all of us and a big thank u to Annapurna Studios, Supri, Nagarjuna garu, Puri Jaganath garu, Sonu, Sachin (makeup and hair), and the entire team for standing by me, believing in me and each and every film team that I have worked for supporting me be the best of me in this 16 years (sic)," the 'Bhaagamathie' actress tweeted.
She went on to say, "For all the people who take out the time from their life and make so much of a difference in my life, Hemchand ....ASF and audience….Thank u so so so so much for all the unconditional love always forever .. let’s all grow one baby step each day."
Also starring Sonu Sood and Ayesha Takia, 'Super' had music by Sandeep Chowta. 'Vikramarkudu' in 2006, which was directed by SS Rajamouli and headlined by Ravi Teja, was Anushka's first big hit. 'Arundhati' in 2009, directed by Kodi Ramakrishna, made her a superstar actress.
