Anushka Sharma gets special birthday gift from Anurag Kashyap

Anurag Kashyap perfectly knows how to make his leading ladies feel special. With a view to celebrate Anushka Sharma's birthday (that went by few days ago), the filmmaker hosted a special screening of his forthcoming directorial 'Bombay Velvet' for the actress.
We were told that, Anushka, who plays a jazz singer, in the period drama film, had been desiring to watch the film for weeks now. And hence, as a special gift, Anurag hosted his film's screening for Anushka, where her family and friends were also invited. On May 1 (Anushka's birthday) was the first theatrical screening where the entire cast of the film was present. After the screening, Anushka cut a cake to the chorus of 'Happy Birthday To You'.
Apart from the cast and Anushka's friends and family, many people from the industry also watched the film on that night.
'Bombay Velvet', one of the most awaited films of the year, is all set to release on 15th May.
