Indian team skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma have announced on social media that they are expecting their first child, along with an adorable picture showing Anushka's baby bump.

"And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021," Anushka and Virat had captioned their respective posts which featured the couple in a casual pose, confirming the baby's arrival in the first month of 2021. The actress is reportedly 4 months pregnant. Several celebrities have taken to social media to congratulate the couple. Speculations regarding Anushka's pregnancy were doing the rounds for several months while the actress constantly rubbished the rumours. "Yeah. If you're married then people ask, is she pregnant? They love to read into something when there really isn't anything," Anushka had once stated while she was questioned about the rumours.

Anushka has not announced any new projects in Bollywood after the release of her 2018 movie 'Zero.' Meanwhile, Virat is all set to take part in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League, scheduled to happen in the UAE. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy in December 2017.
