Arundhati star Anushka may surprise in one of her forthcoming films, Vedam. The Krish-directed film will be releasing this summer, and Anushka is the only female lead in the film that sees three male stars - Allu Arjun, Manchu Manoj and Manoj Bajpai, playing key characters.

The multi-starrer film, directed by the Nandi awardee, is said to be a film to watch out for. Everyone associated with the movie has gushed about it, at one time or another.

The latest buzz is that Anushka will be seen in a never-seen-before role in the movie. The actress is learnt to have made an exception for the film, shedding her star image status, to play a challenging and offbeat role.

As a matter of fact, Anushka may well shock her fans in what sources say, an exceptional role.
