It took a long time for the casting couch to decide on the leading lady of Salman Khan film Sultan`. Finally, when the name was out, Anushka Sharma's fans were on cloud 9 as she would be acting with the third Khan from the industry.

Recently, this beauty took to Twitter and posted a photo from her makeup room, where she was seen getting ready for the 'Sultan' shoot. She tweeted, saying, "New beginnings... New journey.. Heading for the first day of #Sultan shoot. Excited !! Here we go .. !! ". The PK` star no doubt looked beautiful and attractive in the picture. Fans you have to be a bit patient to find out her look in the movie.

Something that really surprised all Anushka's fans was, when director Ali Abbas Zafar happily welcomed the actress. He took to twitter and said, "Just wrapped first day of shoot with @AnushkaSharma. Team @SultanTheMovie welcomes you on board," on Friday (January 22) morning. The director seemed glad to have wrapped up the first day of the shoot with the actress.

The movie 'Sultan' is produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner and it hopes to hit theatres on Eid in 2016.
