Anushka's 'Bhaagamathie' splendid opening box office performance

Anushka's 'Bhaagamathie' though its first half receiving mixed responses, went on to impress audiences with thrilling moments in the second half. The film released last Friday and let's now see its performance at the box office.

The film has earned Rs.1.01 crore in Chennai, Rs.1.98 crore in Chengalpattu, Rs.1.14 crore in Coimbatore. Adding in the profits from other regions of the state , 'Bhaagamathie' has accumulated Rs.6.5 crore in Tamil Nadu alone.

Moreover the film has performed very well in Andhra and Telengana reaping in a profit of Rs.19 crores. It is also noteworthy that 'Bhaagamathie' has raked in about Rs.33 crores in worldwide box office collection.
