Remember Anushka? The damsel from Mumbai tried her luck in Tamil in Rendu opposite Madhavan. She played a glam doll in the movie and won admiration.
Meanwhile the actress became too busy in Telugu and had enough offers coming her way there.
A happy Anushka says, ÂI am happy that I am getting good offers in Telugu. Hopefully I get few in Tamil too. Heroines are portrayed as glam dolls in Telugu and rarely one comes across a performance oriented roleÂ.
Anushka is playing a conservative girl in a movie titled Arundathi in which she has enough scope to perform.
She says, ÂArundathi has a different storyline and I am hopeful that my performance would fetch me an award in the movieÂ.
