Anushka meets Ilayaraja

Anushka, who is a great fan of maestro Ilayaraja since her childhood, called on the 'Isaignani' in Chennai on Sunday and sought his blessings.

"It is a great day for me and it was a memorable experience meeting Raja sir," the actress said, after presenting a bouquet to the maestro and spending some time with him.

Meanwhile, Ilayaraja will leave for London today for the background score of Anushka-starrer 'Rudramadevi'. The film directed by Gunasekhar is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
