After quite a few setbacks, Anurag Kashyap is poised for a miraculous comeback. Kennedy, Kashyap's latest film, premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival at the Grand Lumiere Theatre to a seven-minute standing ovation, leaving fans eagerly awaiting its release.

In a recent interview with IndiaGlitz, Kashyap expressed his interest to act in a Lokesh Kanagaraj film, famed for Vikram, in addition to directing. "I want to play Lokesh's death scene. His performers die beautifully. I want to die gloriously in one of his movies. I want a glorious death in his visionary creation."

Kashyap adored Vetrimaaran and his movie Viduthalai. He mentioned "Viduthalai enthralled me, and I eagerly await its sequel. The film's Vijay Sethupathi was great. Soori and Rajiv Menon gave two nice surprises. Viduthalai is Vetri's best work, and he improves with each project". He also wanted to direct a superhero film in his own style. Kashyap said he loves storytelling in all formats when questioned about his seamless crossover between cinema and series. Kashyap: "I love extended stories. Any medium suits me. Kashyap was asked about Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan in the interview. He recalled his childhood admiration of Rajinikanth. "Rajini sir left an unforgettable effect. His attitude is unsurpassed." Kashyap called Kamal Haasan a terrific performer and smart brain. I've spent a lot of time with Kamal sir, and he has something unusual. "Despite his superstardom, he has tremendous courage and constantly explores unexplored territories," Kashyap said.

Kashyap praised Vijay Sethupathi's compassion and learning experience. "Vijay Sethupathi is a generous actor. He shares so much, and staring into his eyes can improve performance."
