From the visionary director behind the critically acclaimed “Cinema Bandi,” Praveen Kandregula, comes his highly anticipated second film, set to captivate audiences once again. Ananda Media makes its grand entry into the Telugu film industry with this debut production, helmed by producers Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV, and Sridhar Makkuva. The excitement reached new heights as Samantha, Raj & DK unveiled the title, first look, and concept video of the film.

Titled “Paradha,” the movie promises to be a riveting drama centered around female protagonists, featuring a stellar cast comprising the immensely talented Anupama Parameswaran, the versatile Darshana Rajendran, and the veteran actress Sangitha. The first look poster, where Anupama is depicted without “Paradha” (curtain), immediately grabs attention, showcasing her in a de-glam role, draped in traditional attire, exuding a stern aura.

The concept video sets the tone for the film, featuring an idol of a goddess in a village setup, accompanied by the profound shloka from Manusmruthi, emphasizing the significance of honoring women in society.

Notably, “Paradha” marks Darshana Rajendran’s debut in Telugu cinema, following her remarkable performances in widely acclaimed Malayalam films, adding an extra layer of excitement for her fans across both industries.

“Paradha” has been a labor of love, with shooting schedules spanning picturesque locations in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and various villages. As the crew gears up for the final leg of shooting in Hyderabad in May, the anticipation continues to build.

Director Praveen Kandregula shared his enthusiasm for the film, expressing his desire to offer audiences a unique and resonant narrative. Producer Vijay Donkada echoed the sentiment, describing “Paradha” not just as a story, but as an immersive experience that will transport audiences to another realm.

With Gopi Sundar’s musical score and Mridul Sujit Sen’s cinematography, “Paradha” promises to be a cinematic treat for audiences, delivering an engaging storyline complemented by captivating songs. As the film nears its eagerly awaited release, stay tuned for further updates on this cinematic gem.
