The popularity of South Indian films and the stardom of South Indian actors has seen exponential rise in Hindi speaking regions in recent years. The success of films like 'Bahubali', 'KGF' etc are the prime examples of this change which has caused several Bollywood filmmakers go out and collaborate with Tamil and Telugu actors.

Recently, Allu Arjun starrer 'Pushpa' became a box office sensation and a pop culture icon despite the odds created by pandemic. Bollywood star Anupam Kher was so impressed by Arjun's class act that he took to Twitter to appreciate the actor and expressed his desire to work with him.
